If Alt Scribe had offices, the following new releases would definitely be on our office-playlist.

The Moog – ‘Unbound

After two very quiet years, The Moog, from Budapest, is back with new music and sound. They used to be sixties indie band with an early-Panic! At The Disco look, but transformed into an eighties synth-pop outfit, as the new song and video for ‘Unbound’ proves. This kind of musical transformation is something we like a lot, and the boys totally own this style, too. They kept the infamous guy-liner though.

Twin Atlantic – ‘I Am An Animal

While we’re talking about transformations, Twin Atlantic surprised a lot of us with the rather poppy ‘Heart and Soul’, which really grows on you with time, but it’s great to hear they are back to being the rock animals we’re used to with ‘I Am An Animal’.

TEAM* – ‘Good Morning Bad Day

The Texan alternative rockers released their incredible new album ‘Good Morning Bad Day’ today, and it’s the perfect soundtrack for laying in the grass as these words are being written. Along with the Passion Pit-like sound comes just enough influence from the native country scene to make their songs stand out from others. Favourites are ‘The Man In A Suit With His Eye To The Sky’ and ‘Alone In My Room’.
