Our eyes and ears are still hurting from watching the new Avril Lavigne music video. As a way of recovery, here are some more positive recent happenings from the music world.

Royal Blood Premiere ‘Come On Over

The year is shaping up well for our favourite newcomer, Royal Blood as they are working on a debut album, and are playing shows all over the world, thanks to their fast increasing fan-base. Their newest heavy masterpiece ‘Come On Over’ has just been released and is already on the Hot List of Zane Lowe.

Morain Release New EP – For FREE

Morain released their new four-track EP ‘Worlds Apart‘ during the holiday weekend. Our favourite is ‘Fighting With The Devil‘ that brings a sadness we haven’t felt on a song since Paramore‘s ‘Misguided Ghosts‘. You can download the EP for free if you head over the band’s site.

George Ezra Drops New Video

George Ezra re-shot the music video for ‘Budapest’ and look how well it turned out! We think it suits the song much better than the previous pastel coloured background clip.

Neon Trees Return With ‘First Things First’

With the strong comeback record that is ‘Pop Pschycology’, Neon Trees are taking over the world once again, and also surprised their fans with a new video for ‘First Things First’ - a pop song with actual meaning and lesson everyone should learn.
